Watermark Tool (http://www.watermarktool.com)
A free online watermarking tool that lets you digitally protect your images quickly and easily.Advertise on Watermark Tool for a Buck
Chitika recently launched a new direct ad sales program that allows publishers to place some code on websites that enable potential advertisers to quickly and easily purchase adspace.
I’m trying this out on Watermark Tool to see how it goes. I currently have 2 125×125 adspots available in fairly prominent positions. You can check out the details here, where you’ll be able to see that each spot is going for the low, low price of $1 a day.
Depending on how well it goes, I’ll likely expand to using Chitika for direct ad sales on other sites. Being able to let Chitika manage it all is fantastic as I don’t really have time for selling adspace right now.
Watermark Tool Surpasses 10,000 Watermarks Generated!
I guess people really like free tools because the Watermark Tool has recently surpassed 10,000 watermarks generated. That’s a pretty subsantial number considering those numbers are from January of this year. It’s pretty cool to see so many people using the tool, especially when it started out as just one of those side projects that you do just because you can - without really thinking about it’s potential popularity. Hopefully I can get around to adding even more great features to the site once I take care of a few other projects first.
Watermark Tool Comes Out of Beta
As promised, I’ve launched the newly designed Watermark Tool for you all to play with. Besides the new design, there’s a few new features adding to the watermarking process itself. The biggest addition is probably the fact that you can do bulk watermarking for up to 10 images at a time.
The site is still 100% free with no signups or registrations required so be sure to check it out if you ever need to protect your images.
Watermark Tool Moved, SIAB Poker On Its Way
WatermarkTool.com is back up and running (on the new server too!). I’m currently moving Squirrelinabox Poker - which will be a much more intensive process since I’m going to be upgrading the ASP.Net framework and DB backend along with the move. Hopefully it won’t take much more than a day or two to get it back up and running so you can all get back to managing your poker leagues.
Watermark Tool Moved But Down
I’ve moved WatermarkTool.com to my new dedicated server, but it’s having some issues. I think the problem is related to either the DNS or something with the IP addresses assigned to the machine. I hope to have it running soon though it’ll probably take some help from my host provider so it may take a day or two.
